DAILY TOURS IN ISTANBUL
LTIST1 - Byzantine Relics (Half Day - Morning)
Departure from hotel and visit to St.Sophia Museum which is one of the great architectural marvels of the ancient world. We continue on to the Hippodrome, the sportive and political center of the Old City. We will then browse around the exciting Grand Bazaar, a maze of over 4000 tiny shops selling gold, jeweler, leather-work and fine carpets. We finally visit the Underground Cistern, storage of 80,000 tons water capacity for the Old City. (except Mondays)

LTIST2 - Ottoman Relics (Half Day - Afternoon)
Departure from hotel and visit the Suleymaniye Mosque, masterpiece of famous architect Sinan, built during the reign of Sultan Suleyman the magnificent. We then visit Topkapi Palace , seat of the Ottoman Empire for four centuries and visit the Imperial Treasury and Chinese Porcelain Afterwards, we visit the Blue Mosque, facing St.Sophia and famous for its delicate blue tiles, and 6-minaret design. We finish with a visit to the Grand Bazaar, a maze of over 4000 tiny shops selling gold jeweler, leather-work and fine carpet...(except Tuesdays)

LTIST3 - Byzantine and Ottoman Relics (Full Day incl. lunch)
A combination of tours LTIST1 and LTIST2 including lunch at a fine restaurant.

LTIST4 - Bosphorus Cruise (Half Day)
Departure from the hotel for a visit to the Spice Bazaar where we will experience the smells of cinnamon, cloves and thyme rising from every store, the same smells that filled the air over 400 years ago. We then embark on a scenic tour of the Bosphorus, the natural waterway that divides Asia from Europe, passing palaces, castles, palatial homes, and the two magnificent suspension bridges.

LTIST5 - Two Continents (Half Day)
Before we cross the Bosphorus Bridge, we visit the majestic Dolmabahce Palace, residence of latter-day Sultans of the Ottoman Empire, with over 370 rooms and a 4.5 ton glass chandelier. On the Asian side we visit Camlica Hill which is one of the highest points in Istanbul, offering breathtaking views in all directions. There will also be a chance for shopping at Beylerbeyi, a typical Istanbul suburb. (except Monday and Thursday)

LTIST6 - Bosphorus Cruise and Two Continents (Full Day incl. lunch)
A combination of tours LTIST4 and LTIST5 including lunch at a fine restaurant. (except Monday and Thursday)

LTIST8 - Istanbul by Night (Night tour incl. dinner)
You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to an exclusive restaurant for dinner. A live floor show will include Belly Dancing and Anatolian Folk singers and dancers.

LTIST9 - Ephesus and Virgin Mary's House (Full Day incl. lunch and round air fare)
Departure from your hotel and transfer to Istanbul airport for flight to Izmir and departure for Ephesus. Visit St. John's Basilica and the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Visit the last abode of the Virgin Mary and, after lunch, you will visit Ephesus and see the Temple of Hadrian and Serapis, Agora, Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre, Double Church and the Gate of Magnesia. Return to Izmir for our flight back to Istanbul and transfer to hotel.

LTIST10 - Pergamon (Full Day incl. lunch and round air fare)
Transfer from hotel to airport for early flight to Izmir and drive to Pergamon. We will begin our visit with Asclepion, ancient medical center built in the name of Asclepieum, God of Medicine. Following lunch we will continue to Pergamon Acropolis, where we will see the Temple of Athena, Altar of Zeus, Temple of Dionysus, Odeon, Library, Agora, Great Theatre and the Roman Baths. Return to Izmir for flight to Istanbul and transfer to hotel.

LTIST11 - Green Bursa (Full Day incl. lunch)
Departure from hotel to catch the ferry-boat to Yalova. Drive to Bursa, enjoying the idyllic scenery. After lunch we take the cable-car to Mt.Uludag, the legendary Mt.Olympos. Back in Bursa, visit Ulu Cami (Grand Mosque) the Green Mausoleum, the old Silk Market in the Covered Bazaar where you can buy Turkish towels. Late evening, return to Istanbul by ferry and transfer to hotel.

LTIST12 - Iznik / Nicea (Full Day incl. lunch)
We leave the hotel and arrive in Iznik by way of Iznik Lake. In Iznik we will visit the Haghia Sophia Church, the Roman Theatre, City Walls and the Archaeological Museum. Following a lake-side lunch we will visit the Green Mosque and Byzantine Catacombs. Return to Istanbul.
